5 of 5 Great edition July 20, 2020

Being bald and cold water can increase that heat loss. This hat certainly keeps the head warmer in the open water.

3 of 5 Cold Water Swim hat OK May 13, 2020
Reviewer: Andrew from Surrey, BC Canada
I bought this hat to replace another cold water swim cap which has a chin strap that gave me a terrible burn under my chin.  I like that this hat has no chin strap and it is very visible.  It certainly keeps my head warm enough for waters that I have been swimming in which are between 12 to 14 degrees C.  However, it does seem to ride up, even when I do it up really tight. It hasn't come off yet, but I have only done swims just under an hour in it.  If I were to do a longer swim, say 1.5 to 2 hours, I am worried it might come off.

5 of 5 Great ... no annoying chin strap. June 21, 2019
Reviewer: Barry from High River, AB Canada
If you are like me and the chin strap on a typical cold water neoprene cap drives you nuts , this cap is for you.  Adjustment ensures the cap won’t slip off, and it is definitely warm.  There is no issue putting a latex cap over it in a race, and for lake/ocean training, the high res colour can’t be missed!
