Just used these at IMAZ 2019 with water temp at 63F on race day. They were very helpful in eliminating foot cramps which I've had problems with in the past. The bootie is long enough to go underneath the leg of my wetsuit to reduce drag or slippage. The velcro strap seemed to work for me in keeping it positioned correctly but I suspect having in under the wetsuit leg was the main reason. In any case, happy I had this for 3.8km swim in cooler water.
