Some warmth, hard to secure |

Not sure how I feel about this one. Used it on one swim so far. Water was 59F so I wanted a little extra head and ear warmth under my cap. Found it awkward to position in a way that was stable on my head and still covered my ears. Its natural position around your hairline also aligns with wear a swim cap will sit. This causes the swim cap to slide around more easily. I ended up having to adjust this far to often, and took it off halfway through my swim. I'm guessing the fit and security of this will be very head size/shape dependent. I also struggle with swim caps sliding up my head, so I'm probably not the best candidate. I think I will try a neoprene cap with neck strap instead next, as a less than full hood option, although that seems quite close to the hood coverage.
