Better than the straw types Thursday, September 25, 2025 Reviewer: Jeff from Chestermere, AB Canada   I went to the straw type initially with my tri bike. It took so much to actually get any water I was out of breath just from having to drink. So yes I was in aero while drinking but I think it affected my performance. This one due to my handle bar shape I have to face towards me and if you use a 750ml bottle it does slide out. For my race I switched to a 500ml and an elastic band. I do sprints so 500ml is fine. I bought my wife the same thing and here’s opens away from her and it’s great no issues, no elastics required and you could get away with a bigger bottle. I know they sell their own bottles so those probably work better but I already have enough water bottles I figured I didn’t need more. Was this review helpful to you?

Was this review helpful to you?
