Description

The shorts are made from top quality Yamamoto smoothskin neoprene and are stitched and bonded just the same as a triathlon wetsuit. They are designed using 2mm neoprene down the centre and 3mm neoprene down the sides. The 2mm provides the additional buoyancy whilst the 3mm side panels complement this by promoting hip rotation through each stroke.

New design and comfort focused waistband
Sizes available are XS, S, M, L and XL. Each set of short has a drawstring so they can be tightened to any waist
size but we would recommend the size X-Small for waist sizes 26– 28,
Small for 28-30, Medium for 31 – 33, Large for 33 – 35 and XL 36-38

Almost a regular bathing suit!	June 27, 2023

I tried a pair of neoprene shorts a couple years back. 5 mil material and it was like putting on a mini wetsuit. Not these shorts which are much thinner and only marginally thicker than a swimsuit. But they still give extra flotation. I really like them!!!

I am very happy with these swim shorts. The slide on easily, secure well, and offer a level of buoyancy that allows me to concentrate on my overall swim mechanics and body movement. Definitely recommend.

I recently bought the Zone 3 The Next Step Buoyancy Shorts 3/2. I like this product. I was looking for something to help me transition from a pull-buoy to no extra flotation following a neurological condition affecting my legs. This works well. Comfortable and definitely gives me a little more lift in the water. Product is well manufactured.

zone3 -2/3 buoyancy shorts	February 21, 2020

I am hoping to try these in 4-5 months or so- lake swimming. May help keep my hips/legs a little higher in the
water. Might, in combination with a neoprene vest, keep me a bit warmer in the water as well. Should be easier to get on/off than a full tri suit. -10C now (Feb21,20), lake is frozen solid.
