I bought the size 8/34, having previously bought (in a department store) a size 6 Speedo that fits perfectly. I wear a size 4 in most clothes, very rarely a 2. The actual size of the material is fine, but the elastics are far too tight. I've tried wetting the suit and placing it on stretchers for days - to no avail. I'll just have to wait until the chlorine (I hope) destroys the elastic. Otherwise the suit is as expected - well made (I certainly haven't been able to tear the elastic), design as shown.
