We used these in the Ocean and for a lake swim , no chafing , great fit and kept  toes toasty .

The booties are fairly light but ideal for wearing with my fins. I need to wear flip-flops to get to the water since the soles are not thick enough to protect my feet from rocks etc, but that is fine. Lighter booties to fit my fins was what I wanted and these are great.

I wore these just yesterday for an ocean swim with a rocky bottom. Great for walking out through rocks and snapping turtles. Seemed fine for swimming (but I don't kick as much as I should).
The split at the toe is awesome so that I can put my flip-flops on right over the booties. My advice is to tuck them under the leg of your wetsuit so that they don't roll down. They do not fill with water tho, just more comfy under the wetsuit leg.
I have wide feet and size 10 lady's shoes (or 8 in men's). The medium-sized booties were perfect for me.

The boots fit well and re very effective  at keeping feet warm while swimming in the lake.

The order was filled quickly and delivered very quickly.
