The De Soto Forza Tri Short with 4-Pockets features the Forza-Fino Ceramico 4mm Pad with 4-Pockets, which makes it ideal for long and ultra distance racing.
  • The Forza Tri Short with 4-Pockets has the Patent Pending Integrated Forza-Fino Ceramico™ 4mm Pad. This pad floats and stretches which means it can be used as a race piece in a triathlon. On the bike, the pad stretches with the short and follows your skin as it moves with every pedal stroke, eliminating the friction that can cause irritation or rashes.
  • With a total of four pockets, this is well considered to be the best short for long and ultra distance racing. The addition of the Ceramico Pad combine with the improvements to the fit and the new 3-inch double legband, will enhance your performance and comfort.
  • The Forza Trishort has solid black Liftfoil™ center panels for more comfort and durability!
  • We added the Liftfoil™ panels in the center for a number of reasons:
  • To improve the durability. Yes, this fabric is more durable, which is important in an area where rubbing occurs against a saddle and where some people's thighs rub together.
  • To keep the modesty panel, well, modest. This fabric is not diaphanous at all (meaning not see-through). Something we all appreciate not involuntarily seeing on others.
  • To make this trishort faster in non-wetsuit races. Liftfoil™ is our swimskin fabric. The Liftfoil™ Speed Trisuit is made entirely out of this swimskin fabric. The addition of these panels on the front and back not only makes this trishort faster, but they eliminate any adverse affects when worn with a wetsuit.
  • There are two pockets on each leg, one on the upper thigh, one on the lower thigh. They are large enough to fit any of your nutritional bars and packets, yet are commonly used for packing lubricants, spare socks and even smart phones. When the pockets are empty they sit close to the skin and you would never know they were there, but you will be surprised how much you will use them knowing they are!
  • This short is regular rise and sits high on the hips. The new 3-inch Forza Compressor™ legs have no binding gripper elastic on the bottom, so they are more comfortable on long rides, yet they stay in place. The entire Forza Trishort is sewn with a proprietary flat stitch which provides increased aerodynamics and durability over the life of the product.
  • It is made of Forza Compressor™ (see Fabric Facts) and is great for non-wetsuit races. Swim, bike, and run in comfort without changing.
  • This item is not designed for repeated use as a swim suit in a chlorinated pool.

5 of 5 De Soto Mens Forza 4-Pocket Tri Shorts May 30, 2016
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Stouffville, ON Canada
Best tri shorts I have swam rode and run in. Fit like a glove and very comfortable. Was wearing the 400 mile short but found the chamios to bulky for running and caused some irritation during ironman races.  I am 6'1" 174 lbs. with a 33 inch waist and wear a large.

5 of 5 Great Product May 23, 2016

These shorts met every expectation that I had for them. They are a little more expensive than what I was originally planning on spending but I'm glad that I went with them. I bought a Zoot tri short last year and they don't compare to these shorts. I'm 6'2", 175lbs and went with the large. They initially felt a little tight but once I started moving it became clear that I picked the correct size. The pad is very comfortable on the bike.

The only disclaimer that I should point out is that I haven't tried running in the shorts yet. However, I can't imagine that there will be any problems.
